SAFETY PROGRAM

At NXT Locate, we understand that utility locating plays a vital role in preventing damage to underground utilities and ensuring safety prior to any excavations. To maintain the highest safety standards in our operations, we have developed a comprehensive safety program that emphasizes training our team on best practices and identifying potential hazards associated with utility locating.

In addition to our safety program, we have obtained required certifications along with industry/job-specific certifications that enhance our expertise in safety protocols and procedures. These certifications demonstrate our commitment to keeping safety at the forefront of our operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards. By fostering a culture of safety and responsibility, we not only protect our employees but also contribute to the overall well-being of the communities we serve. Our dedication to safety and damage prevention remains a core aspect of our mission at NXT Locate.

  • Think about the scope of your project and if you need to hire a contractor. If digging in a small area of the dig site, outline that area with white paint of flags.

  • Notify NXT Locate of your project and size of the area you will be excavating so that we can provide you with best cost estimate and availability.

  • Wait for the marks! NXT Locate will provide findings within 24 hours of scheduling services. We mark all utilities with paint and flags.

  • Respect the utility marks (paint or flags). The marks provided by NXT Locate are your guide for the duration of your project. If marks are destroyed contact NXT Locate to remark.
